Infrared warms the body directly, reaching up to 165°F. Traditional sauna heats the room, stones, and air for an even hotter, more immersive session with the option for steam.
Yes. Axis infrared saunas use low-EMF heater technology and are backed by COA third-party testing.
Many sauna brands use “medical grade” as a catch-all marketing term. Axis takes a transparent approach: premium woods, tested heat systems, COAs, low-EMF infrared technology, and clean material choices. Without the harsh wood treatments or adhesive-heavy glue construction often found in lower-grade saunas.
Infrared 4x4 plugs into a standard 120V outlet. Infrared 4x6 requires a 240/15. Traditional, Hybrid, and Outdoor require a dedicated circuit installed by a licensed electrician.
Select models can be assembled by two people in 60-90 minutes, depending on configuration and site. Traditional heater setups require a licensed electrician.
